Tuesday, May 11th, 2010If you were alive in 1985, or you are up late watching cable, you have seen Fright Night. From 1985, it’s a somewhat comedic teen horror take on the vampire mythos. It’s similar in ways to The Lost Boys, and many films of the time. Still it’s a favorite of many, especially for the characters [...]

Sunday, May 9th, 2010It’s a question that is as boggling as the answer. Super 8. If you are unaware of what this all means, you are hardly alone. So far all that is clearly known is that Super 8 is the name of a film by J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg. It will be coming out at some [...]
Movie Review: Iron Man 2
Saturday, May 8th, 2010All in all, Iron Man 2 is a good movie. Not great nor likely to match the expectations of fans of the first film. More than a few hints were made of the Avengers movie, due out in 2012. So there is room for more improvements over this film, with a bit less hype to overcome.

Robert Rodriguez makes his point clear
Friday, May 7th, 2010Robert Rodriguez is a great film maker. I enjoy his work and am a fan. The same can be said about Danny Trejo. In fact the film Machete, which will be out later in the year, is something I’m looking forward to as it will be the first starring role for Danny Trejo, directed by [...]
J.C. – Comedy Central shows its arse
Friday, May 7th, 2010Viacom is a major television cable network. They own B.E.T., VH1, MTV, Comedy Central and various other television properties. In each of the cable channels 3 things are common: African Americans are regularly mocked, Christians are mocked, Muslims are avoided. Sumner Redstone is the real power behind the scenes at the network. He is the [...]
